After many emails and phone calls, I was *finally* able to meet Michelle and Kevin for their long awaited engagement session this past April! It felt like we became instant friends! These two are so genuine and fun-loving, and their love is so so real.
Kevin and Michelle, I am so looking forward to capturing more memories for you and watching y'all tie the knot in October!
This is the second time I have photographed these two lovely people and I have to say I could not have been more excited when Jess contacted me to have another session! Jess and Daniel are two of the most joy-filled, genuine, and down-to-earth people I have ever met and it is honestly such a blessing to have had them in front of my camera again.
We went to J.C. Raulston Arboretum in the heart (and heat!) of North Carolina springtime and had an absolute blast! Many of the flowers were in full bloom and the sun set so perfectly that evening, I could not have asked for better weather.
Jess and Daniel, it was such a pleasure getting to work with you both again and I can't wait until next time!
Y'all. The morning of this session was chillier than most January mornings in North Carolina - so cold that we had to push back our session an hour and we still ended up freezing our tootsies off!
Besides the chilly weather, Stephen and Nicole managed to stay cozy and warm (ish) as we made our way through the Raleigh Rose Garden. The Rose Garden was the absolute perfect place for their pictures because this is where he proposed! Soooo excited for this sweet couple's wedding this October!
I met Erica through Instagram a little while back and had the opportunity to take headshots for her DIY blog, I Style DIY. This girl is so real and so down to earth and you should DEFINITELY take a peek at her super fun blog when you get a chance!
ANYWAY, Erica contacted me last year to let me know she was pregnant (YAAAYYY!!) and needed to document this special time in their lives with maternity photos with her husband Paul before baby Alice arrives. (I know, I know. I'm SUPER behind with blogging...) So, I traveled to meet this lovely couple at Carver's Creek State Park down in Spring Lake, NC. The weather was gorgeous, Erica was GLOWING, and the sunlight was AMAAAAZING. Check out some of my favorites from this cute little fam's maternity photos below!
Kaylee and Chris have one seriously epic love story! I have witnessed their relationship blossom through college and beyond. I stood beside them on their wedding day on the most beautiful September afternoon. Now, I had the blessing of documenting their deepening love with each other on this beautiful Downtown Raleigh anniversary session last fall!
Love is the most beautiful adventure! Kaylee and Chris are two of the strongest people that can weather any adventure, big or small. I am so excited to see where life takes these two lovebirds!
Molly and Reid are two of the most precious people you will ever meet! Reid proposed at the American Tobacco Campus near downtown Durham, North Carolina. Last year, the three of us adventured around Durham and captured these most sweet images documenting this special engagement season in their lives.
I am so thrilled to be on this journey with them capturing their unique love story through their engagement pictures and soon to be WEDDING in just a few short months! May cannot get here fast enough!
I am so thankful these two lovebirds invited me into their lives for this short period of time to photograph their intimate ceremony! Chelsea and Andrew have been navigating the storms of life together for a long time and they are all the more stronger for it. I have never seen such a strong couple so obviously meant to be together!
These two are magnetic! So full of life and love and energy. I am blessed to have witnessed their union this past August. Just look at the love they share! Their pictures speak for themselves.
Kait and Steve are a unique pair and perfect match! The two met at a mutual friend's wedding in North Carolina and instantly felt a connection. Their love traveled many miles over time as Kaitlyn lived in North Carolina and Stephen lived in Calgary - all the way in Alberta, Canada! As soon as they knew they both seriously wanted to pursue a relationship with each other, they promised to visit each other once a month. How sweet is that?!
After praying for each other and cultivating a deep friendship and very real love, Stephen proposed and the rest is history! Congratulations, you two! Let me know if you ever need a photographer in the future...I would *LOVE* to visit and document your future milestones :)
